Privacy Policy — QleanDesk

1. Data Quavilab collects

We operate no accounts and no analytics. The only data we receive ourselves is described in Section 4 (Invite / referral feature) below, and only if you actively use that feature. Outside of that, we have no ability to identify you or see how you use the App.

2. Data processed on your device

The following stays on your computer and is never transmitted to us or anyone else:

• The sections you create and the app shortcuts you add to them
• Your widget and appearance settings
• Your saved location (city and coordinates)
• Any custom Adhan audio file you choose (read locally only; never uploaded)
• Your trial and purchase status (stored in an encrypted local file bound to your device)

This information is stored in the App’s local configuration on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.

3. Data sent to third-party services

To deliver specific features, the App sends limited data directly from your device to the services below. Quavilab is not a party to these transfers and receives nothing from them. Each service has its own privacy policy.

Note: Prayer times are calculated entirely on your device and require no network connection — no data is sent for this feature.

4. Invite / referral feature

If you open the Invite tab and share or redeem a code, the App communicates with a server we operate (hosted on Cloudflare) to award bonus trial days honestly and prevent abuse of that system. This is the only feature where Quavilab receives any data directly.

What is sent:

• A non-reversible identifier derived from your device (a one-way cryptographic hash — we cannot use it to determine your device’s actual hardware ID, name, or any other identifying detail).
• The invite code you redeem or that a friend redeems.
• Your IP address, retained briefly to rate-limit abuse of the referral system.

Why: Solely to verify a bonus was earned legitimately (one redemption per install, no self-referral) and to issue a cryptographically signed grant back to your copy of the App. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating this one feature.

Retention: Referral records are kept only as long as needed to operate the program and prevent abuse. We do not link this data to your name, email, or Microsoft account — we don’t have access to any of those.

If you never open the Invite tab, none of this applies to you.

5. Purchases

Unlocking QleanDesk Pro is handled entirely by the Microsoft Store. Quavilab does not process, receive, or store your payment details, billing address, or card information — Microsoft does, under its own privacy policy.

6. What we do not do

• We do not use analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data.
• We do not require an account or collect your name, email, or payment details.
• We do not link the referral system’s data (Section 4) to any other information about you.

7. Your rights

For data on your device: You can view, change, or delete your sections and settings at any time in the App, and uninstalling it removes all local data.

For the referral system (Section 4): Because the identifier we hold is derived and non-reversible, and is not linked to your name or account, we generally cannot match a request back to a specific person. Contact support@quavilab.com and we will assist to the extent technically possible.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability under laws such as the GDPR, to the extent data is held. For the third-party services in Section 3, please contact them directly.

8. Children

The App is a general-purpose desktop utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Security

Local data’s security is governed by your own computer. All requests to third-party services and to our own referral server are made over encrypted HTTPS connections, and referral bonus grants are cryptographically signed so they cannot be forged.

10. International users

The services in Sections 3 and 4 may process requests on servers outside your country. This is necessary to provide those specific features and occurs only while you use them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
